The activities carried out by Europa contribute decisively towards the development of the national and international market, and in its staff it has founding members and statutory directors of ABRAFIPA – Brazilian Association of the Companies of Filters, Purifiers, Drinking Fountains and Equipment for Water Treatment, created on 11th December 2000 to defend the sector’s interests.
Among the entity’s main motivating companies, it lent the premises of the Centro Empresarial Europa during a year and half to host ABRAFIPA’s meeting, till it was possible to move the entity to new headquarters.
With great expressivity and recognition by the certification entities and INMETRO itself, ABRAFIPA currently has over 70 member among industrial and commercial representatives, working mainly to establish the quality ruling policies for filters, purifiers and drinking fountains.

In the international area, Europa frequently participates of the Annual World Convention of WQA – Water Quality Association, one of the most important world organizations that, in 2005, joined Aquatech to organize the WQA Aquatech USA International Exhibition and Educational Conference, which became the main event of the sector in the Americas.
Due to Europa’s importance and undertakings, Dácio Múcio de Souza, Europa’s Director-President, was called to assume the position of Director for Latin America Latina of WQA’s World Assembly Division, being the only Brazilian among the representatives of the United States, Philippines, Israel, United Kingdom, Czech Republic and Taiwan.
During one of the meetings, Dácio defended the use of the term “water purifier”, which was approved and started to be used by various companies throughout the world, an important international victory that symbolizes Europa’s dedication to establish a quality market at every level.
